Direct daily flights from Delhi (2.5 hrs), Lucknow (2.5 hrs), and Patna (2.5 hrs) land at Chennai International Airport, which is just 45 minutes from the SRM Kattankulathur campus. By rail, the Chennai Rajdhani Express from Delhi takes approximately 28 hours, and regular superfast trains connect Lucknow (30 hrs), Patna (28 hrs), Jaipur (32 hrs), and Bhopal (24 hrs) to Chennai Central. The university arranges airport and railway station pickup for new students at the beginning of each semester.
